TITLE  Sumu crashes when rendering a track with Ableton 11

ENVIRONMENT  Initial SUMU Beta Version, VST3 on Ventura 13.6 with Ableton 11.3.13 on an M2 Mac Mini

STEPS Because this is an early beta I already recorded the audio to different tracks and muted the tracks containing SUMU. Click CMD+Shift+R to render audio to disk.Expected behaviour: audio of the current track should be written to disk.

ACTUAL Ableton directly crashes - window is being closed without prior notice.

REPRO Reproducible all the time, at least with my current project.

EVIDENCE With the next start of Ableton it states that "a crash happened" - recovery is possible, which is great of course.

another report:

In Ableton 10.1, if you go into the timeline view mode, turn off the plugin, then go to file->"export audio/video", and click the export button, Ableton crashes. If you're in session mode but repeat the same steps, this doesn't seem to happen. I'm on Windows 10 Home version 22H2

can reproduce, only when Sumu is bypassed or muted. Fixed for beta 11.
