This path seem strange: torsion_angle_monte_carlo/monte_carlo_utilities/tamc_utilities/. monte_carlo_utilities implies it is used for all MC code, not just TAMC. Then tamc_utilities makes me wonder how this is different from monte_carlo_utilities.
I think the files in tamc_utilites should be moved to monte_carlo_utilites, then monte_carlo_utilities renamed to tamc_utilities. This eliminates the issue of having a utilities folder inside a utilities folder.
