Visual Studio 2022 Support #13

Open EthanHipps opened 2 years ago

Do you plan on updating this extension to support Visual Studio 2022?

Thank you in advance for your time!

madskristensen commented 2 years ago

You're the first person to ask for it. Not sure

GregTrevellick commented 2 years ago

I'd like this in VS2022, will create a PR for it if I can find the time.

@madskristensen Thank you for the reply and no worries at all. Just curious, if I wanted to create a pr to update it, could I reference the changes you made to OpenInVsCode as a guide for updating this extension as well? Or would it be better to just use what Microsoft provides in the docs?

@GregTrevellick Thank you for offering to create a pr for it. I've never really done anything with extensions before, but I can also give it a shot if you can't find the time.

@EthanHipps Give it a try, as it'll be a while before I can, there's plenty of docs on MS site about vsix extensions and loads of posts online about getting started, plus vids on YouTube. Search for a post about upgrading extensions from vs2019 to vs2022 as a good starting point, good luck 👍

@GregTrevellick Thanks for the advice! I'll let you know how it goes

@madskristensen Thanks for all your work! Just to add a voice here: it would be nice indeed if "Open in Sublime Text" was supported by Visual Studio 2022.
