As title, the "Peacock" extension of VS Code has this feature but "Solution Colors" does not. Maybe you can refer to the source code of a similar extension (this is what I used before but unfortunately, the author of the extension does not have any plan to update it to support VS 2022, it seems to be abandoned) - https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=Wumpf.SolutionColor - for implementing this.
