Feature Suggestion: One-Line Selection #16

Closed FurkanKozen closed 4 years ago

When word-wrap is disabled and horizontal scroll bar is not at the most left, selecting text near the end of a long line can cause scrolling horizontally left if the mouse moves one line upper or lower by mistake and the upper or lower line is empty or short.

Locking selecting cursor would be fine, for example, when selecting with CTRL or when selecting with right-click.

Selecting with the ALT key prevents this case from happening. This bothered me for years but I found the solution after opened this issue :) Actually, selecting with ALT is for box selection, but it also works in this case. There may not be a need for an extension with this solution. Thank you very much for your interest!
