Option to turn off SEO Microdata message in VS 2015 (previously #1878) requires VS restart #1983

I'm referring to the closed issue #1878 about the SEO Microdata message:

I'm using VS 2015 and even after building or closing / reopening the solution the message is still there. Only restarting VS makes the message disappear. Actually, I would expect the message to disappear immediately when the switch is set to false.
