Web Essentials issue in WebEssentials-Settings.json #2011

I have VS Ultimate 2013 running on Windows 10. Web Essentials is causing visual studio to crash if you edit the web essential settings from the visual studio options window while there is syntax error in the WebEssentials-Settings.json I was trying to edit the typescript compile on build option.
