Answer: Tools ---> Extensions and Updates
Search Installed
Find it, and Uninstall.
THEN,
Tools --> Options --> Extensions and Updates
Uncheck Automatically check for udpates and Load per user extensions when running ....
From time-to-time, go back and check Visual Studio is still offline. There may be other updates turning this back on.
Thanks, Microsoft, for making me move my business to LAMP stack. An hour here or there to keep stroking your "productivity" tools isn't productive at all.
Tired of it crashing Visual Studio and AV'ing when online access to VS is turned off.
