Installation Requires VS 2017 Pro be Restarted 5 times #11

Installed product versions

Description

Installation is not executing as expected. This is a brand new clean install of VS Pro 2017 with the first update applied

Steps to recreate

  1. Download Web Essentials
  2. Close all VS instances
  3. VSIX installer completes
  4. Open VS
  5. Browser Reload on Save, CSS Tools, Javascript Transpiler, and one other components install again.
  6. Restart
  7. Browser Reload on Save, CSS Tools, Javascript Transpiler, and one other components install again.
  8. Restart
  9. Browser Reload On Save installs again
  10. Restart
  11. Browser Reload On Save installs again
  12. Restart
  13. Browser Reload On Save installs again
  14. Restart
  15. Everything is now installed.

Current behavior

Had to restart Visual studio 5 times for everything to be installed.

Expected behavior

Should not have to restart after initial vsix installation,

I have the same problem too. But the five-time restart didn't help me
