Extension does not initialize after reinstall #34

Description

After an uninstall and reinstall the extension the extension does not initialize.

Steps to recreate

  1. Install the extension
  2. Exit VS and run the vsix
  3. Run VS and Uninstall
  4. Exit VS and run the vsix
  5. Run VS and install
  6. Run the vsix
  7. Run VS
  8. The extension does not initialize
  9. Click Tools|Web Essentials
  10. Click Re-install

Current behavior

The activity log is empty after reinstall After clicking reinstall button, the task icon briefly changes but nothing changes and no error message is produced.

Expected behavior

The activity log shows the installed components after reinstall and after clicking the re-install button.

Close vs2017 Please install 15.8

I get the same issue. When I click Re-install nothing happens.
