Well a lot of issues with IE6, IE7, IE8 and IE9

The attached file is a version that hopefully works with all versions.

Great stuff, thanks. Saved my weekend. There's still a bug in IE9, 'cause in my 
case countdown is too fast and breaks after the zero. I'll try to fixit but 
have no idea yet.

It's a incompatibility between jQuery and the plugin for IE 9. (jQuery 1.3 
works, 1.6.2 doesn't)

Hello,
I have tested this version, it doesn't work with IE9, with jQuery 1.3 or 1.6.2.
Does anybody have an idea of what is the fix to solve this incompatibility ?

Why is this script so much smaller than the original?  I still can't get it to 
work in IE7 for me.
