Steps to Implement:

Create a .zenodo.json file to specify metadata. See https://developers.zenodo.org/#add-metadata-to-your-github-repository-release
Connect the GitHub repository to Zenodo.
Trigger the archive process on Zenodo.

Expected Benefits:

Long-term data preservation
Academic citability via DOI
Increased visibility and credibility
