Unverified app error when adding Google Drive workspace

When I try to add a Google Drive workspace I get the following error:

Google hasn’t verified this app

The app is requesting access to sensitive info in your Google Account. Until the developer (xiaoqi.cxq@gmail.com) verifies this app with Google, you shouldn't use it.

Is verification with Google planned?

I've been waiting weeks for someone to verify my OAuth consent screen on the google cloud platform.I wrote an email to The Google Cloud Trust & Safety Team to inquire about helping me verify the OAuth consent screen.
