python format change #3

Since the new files have been generated in python, the way to access some of the information has changed. To generate the CDFs need to change how the information is handled

Tried to run the CDF code. Getting error message "Unable to resolve the name 'cdf.CDF'." I added the matlab cdf390_patch to my working repository yet the error message did not go away. This is important for those that may want to regenerate the CDFs on their own.
