Provide Public Dataset Analytics #131

Hi @philipgrimmett - Perhaps you can look at this from UX and design point of view. We can discuss it and figure out the way forward. Please ping me when it is convenient for you

As discussed with @philipgrimmett yesterday, to start with we want to show analytics publicly for datasets as number of views and downloads and build a framework around logging some key metrics so we can generate reports on them in the future.

Phil - could you please add an estimate for doing a design

@philipgrimmett all that stuff looks awesome. We also need to think about what we're tracking on a per-dataset basis and how we surface that on the dataset page too :).

If we did this, it would help people like this:

I’d love to know how many downloads you have had of the National Public Toilet Map dataset, or developers accessing the API, or users/visitors to your own map site/app.

I run The Public Toilet Map in the and we’re asking our government for funding to help us launch our own open dataset/API, and your success story is the best (and in many ways the only) comparison there is!
