7 years ago I updated to CP 1.14c After updating, go to Controlpanel and under "Display Settings" select "Reset Default" and reboot, now HDMI audio should work. (What I did: adding hdmi_drive=2 to /boot/config.txt which forces hdmi mode, dont know if this is causing trouble on DVI screens.)
Can someone please report back ?
Some people complaining that there is no audio from HDMI to Screen when selected "Audio both"
Any tricks so to solve this so far? I will look into it within the next days
