Remote Access PocketVJ over the Internet #1

If you want to access your PocketVJ and its Control Panel over the internet, here is one way you can do it:

1.) Start your PocketVJ, connect to the ControlPanel, go to the red section with the wrench and under "Network RJ45:" click DHCP:

2.) Connect the PocketVJ's RJ45 port with your modem or router and reboot the PocketVJ.

3.) On your computer, visit: https://www.dataplicity.com and create an account with your email address.

4.) Now you get a link you have to copy.

5.) Wifi connect to your PocketVJ, go to the Control Panel, again in the red section with the wrench, at the very bottom, click "Terminal". When you get a security warning (caused by missing https:// ), click proceed on the bottom. Now you can login to the PocketVJs terminal. (See here: https://vimeo.com/198976244 from 00:24 to 00:42).

6.) Paste the copied code from dataplicity.com and wait until its executed.

7.) Finally user your computer, login to dataplicity.com, select your PocketVJ-100, see the black terminal. On the right side you can enable Wormhole. The link you see there gives you access to the Control Panel :-)

8.) Disable the the Wormhole function for security reasons..

Tricks: To check what your PocketVJ is currently displaying, type into the black terminal: /var/www/sync/screenshot a screenshot of the current output will be saved in /internal/images

Use wgetinside the remote terminal to download content from your server/dropbox to the PocketVJ
