Unable to retrieve information for "Jon Irenicus, Shattered Mind"
Agent of Treachery - (Gatherer) (Scryfall) (EDHREC)
{5}{U}{U} Creature — Human Rogue 2/3 When Agent of Treachery enters the battlefield, gain control of target permanent. At the beginning of your end step, if you control three or more permanents you don't own, draw three cards.
Maybe related, but when a copy of Jon made by [[Irenicus's Vile Duplication]] died the creatures it had donated returned to my control. There's definitely something wierd going on with the continuous effect of Jon's ability.
Irenicus's Vile Duplication - (Gatherer) (Scryfall) (EDHREC)
{3}{U} Sorcery Create a token that's a copy of target creature you control, except the token has flying and it isn't legendary.
Another observation: whoever controls Jon is the player who can't be attacked by goaded creatures from Jon's ability.
Perhaps you mean [[Jon Irenicus, Shattered One]]
Jon Irenicus, Shattered One - (Gatherer) (Scryfall) (EDHREC)
{2}{U}{B} Legendary Creature — Elf Wizard 3/3 At the beginning of your end step, target opponent gains control of up to one target creature you control. Put two +1/+1 counters on it and tap it. It's goaded for the rest of the game and it gains "This creature can't be sacrificed." (It attacks each combat if able and attacks a player other than you if able.) Whenever a creature you own but don't control attacks, you draw a card.
Yes, for whatever reason "Mind" is my go-to all the time.
[[Jon Irenicus, Shattered One]].
Player A has Jon Irenicus, Shattered Mind in play and takes control of Player B's commander with [[Agent of Treachery]].
Player A donates Player B's commander to player C at the end step with Jon's trigger.
The issue: When Player A loses the game the stolen commander was returned to Player B who owned it, even though it wasn't under Player A's control at the time the player lost. It should've stayed with Player C.
