Helm of the host does not confer non-legendary status to legendary TDFC #12464

Was playing a game with [[Runo Stromkirk // Krothuss]] and helm of the host and XMage requested I pick one to keep from the legend rule, which should not be the case as of March of the Machine

EDIT/UPDATE: None of the non-legendary token generators are working for the back face of the above card

At the beginning of your upkeep, look at the top card of your library. You may reveal that card. If a creature card with mana value 6 or greater is revealed this way, transform Runo Stromkirk. :arrows_counterclockwise: Legendary Creature — Kraken Horror 3/5 Flying Whenever Krothuss, Lord of the Deep attacks, create a tapped and attacking token that's a copy of another target attacking creature. If that creature is a Kraken, Leviathan, Octopus, or Serpent, create two of those tokens instead.
