This ability should only be used during the controller's turn when they control a creature.

I don't think so...

The AI can find helpul to give unblockable to an attacking creature that attacks one of its opponents, I think

I'm aware that it can be activated at that time but it is usually a bad idea. This issue is about placing additional conditions to use certain abilities for the AI.
