Currency Converter - (Gatherer) (Scryfall) (EDHREC)
{1} Artifact Whenever you discard a card, you may exile that card from your graveyard. {2}, {T}: Draw a card, then discard a card. {T}: Put a card exiled with Currency Converter into your graveyard. If it's a land card, create a Treasure token. If it's a nonland card, create a 2/2 black Rogue creature token.
Let's say you have 3 Currency Converters:
Currency Converter A uses its activated ability to draw / discard a card. I discard a nonland card.
After the looting ability resolves, all the triggers of Currency Converter go on the stack. In order of resolution, I stacked it A-B-C.
I don't exile said card with Converter A, but I do exile it with Converter B.
Before Converter C's trigger can resolve, I tap Converter B and move the nonland exiled card into the graveyard and create a 2/2.
Converter C's trigger resolves, and I'm able to move the card that I just put in the graveyard from exile with Converter B.
Now I can tap Converter C to create another 2/2 Rogue.
I think the Converters are seeing the card in the graveyard as the same object, but every time it moves from graveyard to exile, it should be treated as a new object. I shouldn't be able to move cards back and forth from graveyard to exile with multiple Currency Converters. Image below shows how how the bot has multiple rogues with zero cards in graveyard and one in exile while I have one rogue with one card in exile.
