If product has required options, it sill displays "Add to cart" text on button, But when customer press the button, magento redirects him to product page with message "The product's required option(s) weren't entered. Make sure the options are entered and try again.". And it's a little bit confusing.
It would be better also to change button text to "Configure", or something like this.
