[GraphQl] The ability to sort aggregation options #34347

Open Hexmage opened 2 years ago

Hexmage commented 2 years ago

Description (*)

Currently Aggregation options are only sorted by the count (except for price which is sorted from low to high price). But for some attributes you'd rather sort the aggregation options by something else, for example you want to order sizes from small to large or vice versa. The sort order is already available in the database it is just never used in the building of the aggregations.

Expected behavior (*)

The sort order of aggregations is configurable. You can either select label, count or sort_order

Benefits

The data is returned in the correct order so the storefront doesn't have to modify the data before displaying it.

Additional information

The sort order is already available in the database it is just never used in the building of the aggregations.
