Product overview in backend is showing price with currency symbol of filtered store view and default currency of default store view #38564

Preconditions and environment

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to STORES -> Settings -> Configuration -> General -> Currency Setup -> Currency Options ->set "Base Currency" and "Default Display Currency" to Euro -> Save config.
  2. Go to STORES -> Settings -> Configuration -> General -> Currency Setup -> Currency Options -> Select a different store view -> set "Default Display Currency" to British Pound -> Save config.
  3. Go to CATALOG -> Inventory -> Products -> Click Filters -> Select different store view where "Default Display Currency" is set to to British Pound -> Click Apply Filters.

Expected result

Price is showed in Euro and Euro symbol.

Actual result

Price is showed in Euro with British Pound symbol.

Verified the issue in Magento 2.4 dev instance and the issue is not reproducible.

Steps to reproduce 1.Go to STORES -> Settings -> Configuration -> General -> Currency Setup -> Currency Options ->set "Base Currency" and "Default Display Currency" to Euro -> Save config. 2.Go to STORES -> Settings -> Configuration -> General -> Currency Setup -> Currency Options -> Select a different store view -> set "Default Display Currency" to British Pound -> Save config. 3.Go to CATALOG -> Inventory -> Products -> Click Filters -> Select different store view where "Default Display Currency" is set to to British Pound -> Click Apply Filters.

Price is showed in Euro and Euro symbol.

I've tested this again.

Steps to reproduce

  2. Go to STORES -> Settings -> Configuration -> General -> Currency Setup -> Currency Options -> Select a different store view -> set "Default Display Currency" to British Pound and "Allowed Currencies" to British Pound and Euro -> Save config.
  3. Go to STORES -> Currency -> Currency Rates -> Enter rate for GBP -> Save Currency Rates.
  4. Go to CATALOG -> Inventory -> Products -> Click Filters -> Select different store view where "Default Display Currency" is set to to British Pound -> Click Apply Filters.

Verified the issue again in magneto 2.4 but still not able to reproduce the issue.

We have followed the below steps to reproduce the issue.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to STORES -> Settings -> Configuration -> General -> Currency Setup -> Currency Options ->set "Base Currency" and "Default Display Currency" to Euro and "Allowed Currencies" to British Pound and Euro -> Save config.
  2. Go to STORES -> Settings -> Configuration -> General -> Currency Setup -> Currency Options -> Select a different store view -> set "Default Display Currency" to British Pound and "Allowed Currencies" to British Pound and Euro -> Save config.
  3. Go to STORES -> Currency -> Currency Rates -> Enter rate for GBP -> Save Currency Rates.
  4. Go to CATALOG -> Inventory -> Products -> Click Filters -> Select different store view where "Default Display Currency" is set to to British Pound -> Click Apply Filters.

Hello,

You have reproduced it. In screenshot 1 I see a British Pound currency symbol with a price of 1000 and in screenshot 2 a euro currency symbol with a price of 1000.
