Summary

https://github.com/magento/magento2/blob/2.4-develop/lib/web/tiny_mce_7/license.md

that version of that software is GPL, which is not compatible with OSL, why is that there?

We are working with TinyMCE on an enterprise license. In the meantime we are going to roll back to the previous version.

hostep commented 1 week ago

@nathanjosiah: out of curiosity, is that back to v5 or v6?

fballiano commented 1 week ago

feel free to hire me for this kind of things ;-)

TuVanDev commented 4 days ago

@hostep since v6 is under the MIT license and v5.10 has a reported security vulnerability (CVE-2024-38357), I believe v6 will be the preferred choice ;)
