slidify

Is there any advice for using motion charts with slidify? I found some discussion on stack overflow and in the vignette, but the stack overflow discussion seems to be several years old and the suggestions didn't work. The vignette suggestion seemed to be that the page needs to be viewed from a server rather than as a file, for security reasons, but (a) I'm not sure of a way to make that easy to do when previewing with slidify, and (b) when I was able to view it that way, what I saw had the motion chart html links on the bottom, but the chart didn't actually display.

Any advice or suggestions (or code!) would be appreciated. Thanks!
