When changing the sorting several times or using multiple filters, new URL parameters are always appended:

Example Filter (Not reproducable in the demo because too few articles are assigned to the brands. ):
Can this be resolved?
PS: We had a similar problem in a custom module and could solve it by adding URL-Rewrites for each entity.
