Intervene tooltip reads (source https://tbc.wowhead.com/spell=3411/intervene ) Run at high speed towards a party member, intercepting the next melee or ranged attack made against them.
Applying the following buff : The next melee or ranged attack made against you will be made against the intervening warrior instead.
-Does "ranged attack" exclude spells ? -Can intervene work on special attacks ? if yes, even on conditional attacks such as Backstab, Execute, Overpower, Riposte, Counterattack ... ? -When does the target of intervene gain the buff ? -Is it possible to change the target of a ranged attack that has been fired before the intervene buff has been applied, but landed after the intervene buff's application ?
