Also, this PR is certainly related to https://github.com/magfest/ubersystem/pull/2386 but doesn't really depend on it, since we would have been able to set idents before in this way. I'm going to go ahead and merge this in now.

I think I meant the reverse – #2386 depends on this. Because ident is now required, merging #2386 first will break everything.

I made the same mistake on every other plugin pull request! 😢
