so yea we just kinda copy pasted a bunch of stuff from the magclassic plugin, which now needs to be updated in the same was as: https://github.com/magfest/magclassic/issues/60
if magwest and magclassic have the exact same email categories here, it may be worth moving them to the github.com/magfest/magfest repository which is common stuff for all magfest-specific events. might make sense, might not.
