MAGClassic 2015: Roomate Request / Staff Rooms? #1182

I know Dom has a thought process for a way to work the Hotel Staff Rooms, There is an Email out there containing that thought process..

We should at least add in the room mate request form that we had for M13.... Currently there is nothing on the test server for a staffer to request a room or roommate.... Or we can leave this issue up as a point of reference for Staff Rooms in general.

So I am using #1182 as my brain dump for what I would like to see for the Staff Rooms creation process for MAGClassic. It sounds like we won't have the new design process in place in time for Classic, so I am trying to use as much of the M13 information as I can. Although with the refactoring done, I'm not sure how much still exist on the staffing side. With all that being said here is what I would like to see.

  1. I want to keep the roommate request and anti-request page. This works well as a starting point.

2.I still want to keep the functionality we had at M!3 - of showing staffers that where assigned to a room etc.

  1. We drop the ability for Department Heads to create/assign staff rooms. (This includes removing it from their check list, removing it from their pending emails etc.) As a change to this, Stops can create as a one time email to each department asking them to submit room blocks if they know them. IE - Staff Suite tends to block their staff, as do some LAN staff and Arcade staff.

Additions:

  1. When a staffer is assigned to a room, I want that assignment to show up on their login page as a static entry: https://stage.uber.magfest.org/uber/registration/form
    Under the Badge Section after the staffer has done the volunteer checklist - we show what room nights they have been approved for, I would also like it show who their roommates are for those nights as well. That could either be on this page, or a page with their volunteer information on it. (Shifts, schedule etc) I should also contain the staffrooms email address for additions/corrections

The additions (4) section didn't get addressed at all, and there is another github issue to add the Hotel links back onto the Main Index page... both of those can be good for Fest. I want to sit down at Classic and hash out how I see all the pieces of this working.... Classic had a good run as far as I know.
