If you zoom in with Ctrl+scrollwheel, the menu bar disappears:

get the same effect if I start shrinking the window horizontally.

if I shrink it far enough, I get the hamburger menu

shrunk a lot (good)

shrunk halfway (bad, menu goes away):

shrunk less than halfway (slightly bad, 'about' is obscured)

also (lower pri), mag logo on the bottom doesn't stick to either the white part of the page, or the bottom right:

I believe this has something to do with the CSS for mobile accounting for the size of the window.

It does have to do with the CSS. Would not call a launch-blocker. Failure to care about footer alignment is almost total for this round. XD
