Hi @magiblot! Thanks a bunch for Turbo and TVision!

I come with this feature request, after we added to Haiku (via HaikuPorts):

• tvision (https://github.com/haikuports/haikuports/tree/master/dev-libs/tvision) and
• turbo (https://github.com/haikuports/haikuports/tree/master/app-editors/turbo)

For both 64, and 32 bits x86 machines currently. Only some minor patching was required.

So far, turbo working great for me! (barring some minor visual glitches on our Terminal app :-D).

Really hoping to see that "remember these settings" feature sometime, as I'm otherwise really happy to be able to use turbo daily... finally an editor for "normal people"! :-D

Heh, just noticed that you already have "Persistent configuration" on your "ToDo" list.

Please consider this then just a friendly +1 on that on, and an "announcement" for the availability of tvision/turbo on Haiku :-)

Thank you very much for the comment. I'm glad that you have such a good opinion of Turbo. Yes, I also hope to be able to offer you this feature someday.

Regarding the visual glitches you mentioned, if you think the application is at fault, do not hesitate to report them.

Just in case... pretty sure the glitches are bugs on Haiku's Terminal side:

• one regarding font-rendering.
• one regarding some of the color escape sequences.

and affect other apps too (Midnight Commander, for example), so... rest easy! :-)
