PCIe x1 version pre-order

PCIe x1 (desktop) version is planned to be available for purchase around September. To estimate production volume, please DM me on Twitter @magic__smoke (double underscore) with boards quantity.

Update: number of boards to be produced is estimated and online store link will be posted here when everything is set and ready. However, I keep this issue/Twitter DM open for feedback (especially on x4 Dual Edge TPU adapter) or if you feel like personal notification works better.

Do you plan on selling this card with a low-profile PCIe bracket or standard bracket? Or will it be bracket-less? Just curious if I should be pre-ordering brackets.

@j0rd boards to be shipped with mounting screw for m.2 card and without bracket. Bracket mounting holes are according to PCIe specs, so if you have some lying around, they should fit. Please order brackets after order confirmation, as demand is approaching number of boards in a first run

@Jimmy-SafeCash @lcasale Boards are manufactured and tested. There are some formal things that has to be done once and right I do want to finish those this week and finally start sales

@aseadc86 There is no pre-order list and the point was to pass some threshold, where it’s worth to manufacture the boards and register small enterprise. Currently, boards from the first production run are manufactured and tested, waiting for formal things to be done before starting sales. Store link will be posted here and on Twitter, availability is on first come/first served

@singsonn the one you linked is full height bracket, while my card is half-height. You’d need “Low Profile I/O Bracket” or “Full Height I/O Bracket for Low Profile Cards”, fig. 6-9 and 6-10, p. 92-93: https://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~djm202/pdf/specifications/pcie/PCI_Express_CEM_r2.0.pdf
