Currently working through wireframes and workflows for browsing and creating learning pathways
, building blocks
, and tagged resources
in a web app/interface. Mostly right now using this as an opportunity to start thinking about information architecture and flow through the service in the case that we were to have our own homebrewed solution. Of course this is def. a heavier handed approach to this project, but I think it is a good exercise to see what an ideal case might be, so we can work towards that as a goal whether it is through smaller software interventions, etc. Still need to resolve a bunch of things, but here's just an overview image for now.
I've been working on some wireframes to imagine what an application might look like that for our context that:

Maybe this sparks some ideas for discussion about a longer term goals in terms of being able to really easily and quickly being able to develop individualized learning pathways for students while they develop project ideas.
In the short term, I will try to chop up these functionalities into some bite sized chunks that might be able to live on their own on the web somehow. One example might be a little web app that will accepts a link to a github repo with a MAKESYLLABUS.json file in the root directory and it will build write into that repo an syllabus.html with a nicely structured "how to" build the project in that repo like so:
