Input stopped running, heater stayed on

I've been using it for 2 days to germinate some plants, just need to keep the temp to 30c, and for some reason input stopped running (appearead as not running) and the heater instead of turning of stayed. In the case of a green house and maybe sous vide it would be preferable to have it turn off instead of on to avoid hurting the plants of overcooking something. Thanks and greetings

Edit: Also the probes temp stayed stuck under the set temp, maybe the input stopped running the temp stayed stuck under the set temp and it just kept going
