Search bar not functioning #138

The search bar doesn't work as it should e.g. a search for 'counselling' gives no results:

..., whereas a search for 'social' gives the result 'social counselling':

... and the search 'social counselling' gives no result:

Equally, a search for 'doctors' gives no result on the English language page:

... and a search for 'Arzt' gives one result (despite multiple entries existing):

Search by address is working today, but didn't work last week:

All of this is true for the search bar in the frontend, as well as those in the CMS

It should be possible to search for any work included in the offer and it's description, as well as the NGO which it is linked to. Ideally, it should also be irrelevant in what language something is searched for.

Outstanding/ newly discovered issues:

1) The search bar is case sensitive, which it shouldn't be

e.g. 'Travel' works... screen shot 2016-11-14 at 20 51 25

The 'offers' list in the CMS is also case sensitive

2) From my Mac (Chrome Version 54.0.2840.59 beta (64-bit)/ OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6), which has an English keyboard I would usually press and hold a key and then select my choice to include an accent... screen shot 2016-11-14 at 20 54 19

This doesn't work in the search bar, making it impossible (or difficult) to include accents without copy and pasting from elsewhere: screen shot 2016-11-14 at 20 55 20

3) In some cases the search bar still seems not to search in the descriptions e.g. the offer on the left includes the word 'language' in the description, but a search for 'language' yields no results: screen shot 2016-11-14 at 21 45 16

(A search for 'Language' with a capital L, however, yields many results, but this is because it is giving results for the category 'Language Learning', I assume)

4) CMS: In the NGO list in the CMS it is not possible to search via NGO, which makes it very difficult to make alterations, etc: screen shot 2016-11-14 at 21 56 29

The one offer that does show is only shown as it has the word 'Caritas' in its title.
