I'm using PetScan to create Wikidata items from Commons categories:

The language of the Wikidata label should be de (seems to be hardcoded to en)
The Wikidata label should not contain the Category: prefix
I'd like to set a custom Wikidata description in de

I'm happy to work on a patch if it has a change to be reviewed/merged.

The Wikidata label language for Commons is now the interface language, so if you set your interface to German, it will work (even without re-running the query after the change).

A namespace prefix will now be removed.

You can now add descriptions like Dde:"blah foo". This has also now been documented in the (English) manual.
