Second Chargery BMS to display in Venus #6

Hi, Thanks for your effort! I am currently using your Code for a home solar project including a battery bank with chargery bms. Would it be possible to monitor a second BMS with an additional FTDI usb device? So that I could see both BMS on one VenusOS?

Hi! I don't know. Theoretically you could read multiple devices, but the code is pretty much hardcoded for one device (the installer, not the code itself). But, let say that issue is cleared up, you would have two BMS setting values in a global DBus in venus. Like battery state of charge, temperature etc. You would have to choose one of them.

Personally I have moved away from the chargery in favour of the diyBMS in conjunction with an active china balancer (JK bms).
