640x480: Spathi Eluder gets hit by its own Rocket #178

Which resolution are you using? (important!)

640x480 4:3

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.enter any fight
2.use Spathi Eluder ship
3.fire secondary (missile)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the missile to fly at the enemy as on other angles, but in certain
angles, the missile will explode RIGHT after launching on my own ship, killing
crew members.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
uqm v.0.7.0 on a Windows 7

This is supposed to happen - certain ships can get hit by their own projectiles
if you run into them. So be careful ;)

I get that, but I mean it literally explodes the second I fire it...
I sort of figured out where the projectile launches from, and how I have to
position myself to not get hit, but it far from always works, and even though I
appreciate hard games, it's annoying me since atm I can't get new spathi ships
as well :S and I have no other way to deal with the probes xD
What I thought might be possible is to make the missile intangible for half a
second or so that'd be good, but if it's intended that it can explode
immediately than I guess thats okay :)

like when leaving a planets orbit, even though you're hovering above the
planet, you don't enter. that kinda thing ^^

It might be related to the 640x480 bugs, since I never saw this bug in the 4x
version.
Can you test the 320x200 version and see if you have the same behavior with the
Eluder ship?

@awakened, sorry can't test anything in 320x200, I can't do anything in that
mode :S

Seems to be fixed by the correct 640x480 graphics.
