Windows 10 20H2 support? #44

Does Quibble work with Windows 10 20H2? Tried a fresh iso (Enterprise) from today on a Dell XPS 12 2in1 laptop, and contrary to last time I tested Quibble, Quibble itself works now, and seems to load Windows' files just fine, but the machine freezes after "Booting Windows..." (nothing happens). Tested with /DEBUG and /DEBUG /ONECPU, and with CSM module both loaded and unloaded..

Any tips to something else I could try?

It looks like this: image

It is supported, but there's probably quirks in Dell's firmware. UEFI implementations vary wildly in quality, and it's not the easiest thing to test...

Now 21H1 is out too, have you checked out if that one boots on anything? :) Have a sneaking suspicion that it might be some generic issue at hand here, since vbox users sees some issues too: https://github.com/maharmstone/quibble/issues/42

Is there a way to get debug output from this boot? Would love to be able to provide logs if necessary...

Have I checked it in the 18 hours or so since it was released? I'm keen, but I'm not that keen... Will do so when I get the chance.

21H1 now works - I'll issue a release shortly.

The very same behavior for win11 (not supposed to work but why not to try) at dell g3 3779. Maybe, dell laptop UEFI is really responsible for this.

I'm getting the exact same screen (and behaviour) on Win10 on an MSI GS65 (MS-16Q4 motherboard).

Windows 10 Home
Version 21H2
OS build 19044.1889
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4180.0

Same for me, too. Tried to install 20H2. I've got a strange Chinese motherboard for Xeons with a flashed AMIBIOS.

Core version: 5.11 Compliancy: UEFI 2.4; PI 1.3 BIOS Version: X99 PLUS (this is totally unrelevant, I think)
