Create a error 'area' above the result tab instead of a dialog #2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Type in an invalid xpath and press enter

This results in a dialog that you have to click away. Better would be to have a 
error/message area above the result tab.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
