[BUG] crash, idk why #365

can crash at any time and crash the video driver with it (you have to reboot via ctrl+shift+win+b). the logs say that there is not enough memory, although I allocated 7 GB xmx and 1 GB xms. what to do?

I also reinstalled drivers and java and it did not help

has to do with optifine, but how much ram does your computer have total? should work still

8gb, i already installed optifine

and also, I removed soundfilters, item physics and ambient sounds, maybe because of this? (My computer is not very powerful, so I removed it)

Never allocate that much ram if you only have 8 gb of ram :P

Try to go down to 4 or even 6

what about xms?

you can set that lower, but im not too sure about the setting. probably 256 or 512

it doesn't seem to crash anymore, thanks for the help
