MineColonies Smelter allowing inputs it shouldn't #410

Technical Specs (please complete the following information):

Describe the bug The MineColonies Smelter building can provide guaranteed double to triple-yield on ores, but is currently detecting many things that should not be valid for this process as acceptable. This includes both many raw food items, making MineColonies' own Restaurant building rather useless, as well as Create's crushed ores, which roll double and potentially triple yield themselves. The latter instance can lead to a guaranteed 6x ore yield and a potential 9x ore yield, rendering Create's own method of washing crushed ores to get more out of them completely useless.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Unlock MineColonies Smelter
  2. Build MineColonies Smelter
  3. Build Grinding Wheels
  4. Profit

Expected behavior The MineColonies Smelter is intended as a method of increased ore yield that exceeds no more than triple, and should only accept raw, non-processed ores. It should not accept food items either, as MineColonies already has another building that handles food.

have you checked the setting for said building/worker? normaly minecolony allows you to set this kind of things

Phyllody commented 1 year ago

It was my friend Aura who pointed it out, so I'm unsure. However, that question is also irrelevant, being far beside the point of the posted issue. The issue is that it's possible at all, when it quite obviously shouldn't be as it's way too powerful of an ore multiplier.

Thats why you kinda have to change the allowed list for them right after the building is done and a person is hired

Phyllody commented 1 year ago

Well, if it's seen as a non-issue beyond people disabling it if they want to, I'll stop mentioning it and treat it as allowable.
