Despite the title, this is actually the second j2me game in the Spyro series, the first one was Spyro: Ripto Quest (by the same devs), which relied on key repeats to make the controls a bit more comfortable, but aside from that appears to work on ML properly. Regarding this game, it's unofficially sometimes known as "Spyro: Shadow Legacy Mobile" in order to differentiate from other games using its generic title. 4 versions exist, I checked 3 of them and they all have the same issue which I will describe below.
