--daemon mode should provide logging options #119

The recently added --daemon mode (Issue 105) sends all of its output to 
/dev/null.  We might want to think about adding an option to send the output 
that would have gone to stdout to either a log file or to syslog.

 Need to supply the file name in the command line or syslog  or could be both . Does not look like too hard to do . any command like options like --file --log . Any better guess ?
