Egg textures for spawn eggs? #88

I wonder if we should use real egg textures for the spawn eggs or if we just stick with the current mob icons.

Egg textures would be more MC-like. Mob-like icons would be more consistent with other mob mods like mobs_animal.

Your opinion?

If it clones mobs then why not make the "spawneggs" look similar?

there could be an option in the settings to change to either spawn icons or spawn eggs.

with spawn icons you can see shape and color with spawn eggs you only see color

Well, I'm not sure. It seems to excessive. This sounds like something a texture pack could do.

I think we just go with eggs, seeing that the other mobs_* mods don't seem to agree on a particualr sheme either. Also, I don't really like the icons, they are too pixelated although they are 32×32.

But if you want both options, the real fix might be to add this feature to Mobs Redo itself so it's standardized. I don't think a special treatment for mobs_mc makes sense.

If the spaw egg textures were more like default mc (like the same color) i would make the textures.

It would be better to use 2 base textures and construct all eggs by overlaying and colorization.
