I don't know if you get enough love or not. Just want to say, mailinabox is awesome!!

When I scan thru the recent git commits, there is some "wow" effect and respect about the code you wrote while keeping up the standard. This without earning any $$$. Especially when it comes to usability. There is so much code under the hood about reliable email delivery. At the same time, we bloody busy server administrators also appreciate the smooth installation + upgrades. Please stick to that, usability, don't give up.

Apart from all that excellent Linux Kung Foo, please also ensure the User Interface, while remaining minimalistic which is perfect, also gets enough attention and QA testing. If I were rich, I'd donate $1M right away if I could (shame on you Elon M.) - Peace out

Agreed! JoshData - Joshua Tauberer

Nice work. That said with these ISP's now days wanting you to use a "dynamic ip" instead of a static, which means having to utilize dydns (what my ISP wants even for business service customers like me to do) . It would be nice to see mariadb and wordpress which will run under nginx incorporated for the public facing front end website, and incorporate support for dydns ddclient

Since some ISP's like mine will only allow you one static Ip, if they decide to grant it even for business customers, along with a full on next-cloud implementation. Which would help make to move for techs and others to decentralized services not hosted in the big 3+ clouds. Who all data mine and no integrating Ai to assist in said data mining. we all know that Apple, google and Microsoft data mine the sht out of you. And you can suspect that amzn and other cloud services do as well. they have built in decryption keys on their side. To use at their leisure. ( i personally pulled all my stuff out of the cloud some time again as I saw where it was all headed)

There again thanks to ISP limitations, and also not wanting a VM/VPS hosted in the cloud. As many of those providers can still access to data mine or share the information. Possibly even move the nginx confs out of one big conf into smaller more manageable confs that would allow people who choice to deploy the appliance to get more flexible in what it can do, mail piece being it own piece of the puzzle regardless of ISP or other service provider limitations. and handled by mailinabox. - 1 IP or dynamic equals only one box facing the internet. And not all firewalls or gateways will allow for URL redirection internally since they focus on ports. and forwarding and redirecting ports only.

Then have a default set of files/confs that would get updated for the mailinabox piece as the revisions change, but any additional / would stay intact. ( say you added on vpn, , rainloop or even sogo for webmail, or you have forwarding dynamic web set to forward to Apache with redirects (just throwing stuff out there) . then those / or subdomains wont break. With 198 contributors who know your code and could assist. Should be doable rather easily and quickly.
