web interface landing page #985

Hi I'd like to know what you think about creating a landing page that displays when accessing box.domain.tld. I think it should have buttons for mail, cloud, admin, and perhaps a footer with the website, the forum, or even this github repo. If you like the idea, I'll be very happy to build it myself, with help from whoever would like to contribute. Thanks for your amazing work!

Sure. But you can't use any remote link or script tags. You can only load in assets that we download to a local directory during setup.

Wanting to drop this URL here as an example: https://apps.disroot.org/

This could all be consolidated into one HTML file, with CSS in a style tag at the head and icons as embedded SVGs.

@alexgleason sorry for the delay, very interesting, this is still on my to-do list, albeit pretty far off TBH ;]

If you have any time to contribute let me know and I'll try to match that, and we can kickstart this activity on my end as well.

I hope this won't conflict with e.g. the picoCMS plugin of Nextcloud if configured with rewrite_pass (see the pictures overview on https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/cms_pico showing such configuration).
