Default "add" action - Top or Bottom? #44

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Search for a title
2. Add to queue WITHOUT selecting add to top of
queue
3. Selection is added to queue
4. Refresh queue and titles are at top of queue
even though "add to top" was not selected.

*What is the expected output? What do you see
instead?
Expected bottom of queue, got top

*Did you rotate the screen just prior to the
issue?
No

*What version of QueueMan are you using? On
what version of Android? What
type of device?
Moto Droid, 2.0.1, 0.9.7.1

Please provide any additional information below.

MOSTLY fixed in latest version. Add to bottom
puts it 1 up from the bottom (2nd to last). Great
work though, positive rating added!

This is two error right?

1) The default "add" behavior without clicking an option ( i thought top would
be
nice since if your adding it fast, you must want it fast,,,, but i can change
that)

2) Move to bottom option is only moving to 2nd to bottom (again that can be
fixed
too, but separate from above)

Since the "Add to bottom" button didn't exist until after this request, I
thought of
it more as a bug to the enhancement than a new error, but yeah you can
certainly
think of it that way, too.

This is a great product, thank you so much for your efforts.

Changing title to reflect unresolved question - what should the default action
be if
a user does not select one of three options?

Bottom makes sense as it is the default for web version

But Top makes sense for speed of a mobile app.

I think sdavison would vote for Bottom.
